Q about feeding mice. **Those against killing mice DO NOT CLICK***

Anyone else try this?
Nope, but that guy is good.
ETA: after watching the vid am a bit disappointed that he seems more concerned with YT politics than the product tested.
I wanted to know if the chickens ate any of the bait....and why a 'trap genius' had such a large population of rats.

There is a youtube poster who tests various kinds of mouse and rat traps, including antique ones. Very interesting, to me. He has a channel he calls 'mouse trap Monday'. He recently tested a product called "Rat X" which claims to only kill the rodents, not pets, wildlife, etc. Supposedly it makes the rodent lose its desire to drink water and it goes into its burrow and dies. He tried it on rats and then dug up the burrows a few days later to find rat carcasses. I haven't tried the product but it sounds like a good solution with less chance to find its way into the food chain. Anyone else try this? Here is a link
I bought a small package of Mouse X and just sprinkled a bit here and there behind things in the barn. I don't know if it killed mice or not. Maybe I need to dump the whole bag in one spot like he did in the video.
It has a lot of salt in it, this is part of how it kills the rats. I would not put it where chickens could get it, regardless of the statement about being harmless to pets.
