Low pressure - they're actually gravity fed.

And I'd put out a pipe with at least 4 nipples for four or more chickens. If you have 20 chickens, I'd put out 6 nipples. But I'm not very scientific about it, so don't ask for my rationale. It's just what I've observed after I put up a couple of individual gallon waterers... so then I changed to a 4 nipple pipe. As I got more chickens, I kept the individual gallon waterers out, too. I may get a longer PVC pipe run and reconfigure it, though....

I have 1 nipple for 4 hens and they do great.
