Qs for chicken AI

I have some questions about chicken AI. How easy is it? What do you need? From some people I heard that you need a syringe and a small glass cup, while others have said you can just use a pipette. Can doing this hurt the rooster? How do I get the semen out? I may have more questions. Thanks in advance!

Umm. Why would you want to do this? Most chickens can reproduce fine on their own. Don't do it just for the heck of it. There are already plenty of YT videos on it, though.

You see, I live in the city. I have a friend who owns a farm, and she has a rooster. I want chicks from my hens, but at the moment, is impossible. Unless, of course, I use AI.
