Quack-shack

Ok. I’m getting pretty close. The door is done, just not assembled in the photo. The hardware cloth is up. The roof is on, but I’m currently cutting a few more pieces of wood to give the roof more support. I’m just taking a break to post this stuff right now.
But I have a question. The solid wall on the west side of the duck house was made with treated pine that I painted, however the pine has warped just a tiny bit to reveal some gaps. They are small gaps, so I don’t know if these are safe or not. What do you think.

Mink , weasels can supposedly squeeze through 1” gaps holes etc. rattlers?

Huh. Ok. I guess I’ll add some hardwarecloth over the wood panels. I never thought about minks before. I googled it and supposedly Texas(DFW area has them). I was only thinking about mice, but wasn’t sure if mice could or would harm ducks.
