Quail as pets

Does anyone else have especially tame quail that they keep as pets?

Are those bobwhites? They look very sweet! That chick especially.
All of my quail are pets (minus the ones I eventually have to eat ), but they generally aren't tame enough to handle. Most eat out of my hand and a few will let me hold them.

There are a few threads on here with people keeping quail as house pets, equipped with diapers and all It's not very common, but some do it. Most just have more or less tame birds in some kind of enclosure.

Really?!?! Bird diapers??? I seriously did not know that was a thing!!!

Oh yes, it's a thing I learned about it on here too. I think they were originally invented for parrots but have since been adapted so they come in shapes and sizes to fit most birds.

I do have a quail as a pet! She lets us hold her, pet her, and even feed her out of our hands.
