Can anyone tell me how to make the boots or band-aide thing to make the curled toes better? Or even a picture would be better!

Thank you! Also, is a blue light/plant light okay for button quail. I want to grow a little pot of grass for them, and I don't get any direct sunlight in that area, so I was thinking a plant light bulb would help. Thanks!

yep i agree with citalk2much that's exactly waht I do, the longest ive had to do it was about 2-3 days on a chicken chick. Coturnix chicks seem to fix up by the next day as long as you keep massaging the tootsies

I just leave button babies with curled toes on 1/4 inch wire, it helps to straighten them out. I have a special box made for this, but you could leave them in the bator, as long as you keep food and water in there. The wire works on coturnix chicks as well.
