What if itcathes fire at night!

A reliable bulb won't set on fire

I don't know about quail but with chickens when they're young you keep the bulb on all the time. When they are older and stronger (maybe 5 weeks old) you can turn it off at night

By 4 weeks my quail are off heat

If it falls or touches the card board it may start a fire, pippin did you use a heat lamp? If you did how did you set it up?

My one came with a clip you attach to the side of the brooder.

But I already bought a bulb it’s 60 watt the quails are snoozing inside but what do I do?

Is there any way I can set it without giving any chances to start a fire?

I also put a sheet of paper on top of the box it’s really warm and pleasent under the newspaper the quails are cuddled inside

But I’m really scared to do that at night
