It has faint wild markings on its head. Range (Tibetan,Rosetta, scarlet) is Incompletely dominant over wild, so sometimes you get wild markings bleeding thru. I think that bird will favor Rosetta, but will have a lot of lacing and hints of wild. It also has a messy tuxedo pattern, so it has a lot of tux, but more color than the real crisp tuxes if you were ordering just for that trait. Also as a side note does anyone know what colour the first quail is going to be. It looks like a wild type (pharaoh) but as u can see in the second image that’s what a wild type chick looks like. It has more of a reddish head so I don’t know. Any information will help anyways, always wanting to learn more about these miniature chooks
Thanks

Hello fellow Aussie! I love your brooder setup!
I would love something like that but my extreme frugality would never allow it. As for your genetics question, if you bred a Rosetta to a golden, in a perfect world scenario, you should get a percentage of rosettas, a percentage of goldens, and a percentage of wilds. It would be a decent mix. Depending on if you bred to the manchurian or the italian, your golden:wild ratio would change. Now honestly I have no idea genetically what the bird pictured is. I would guess a rosetta or some kind of range but I haven't had enough to coffee yet to give you a definitive answer.
