I had 6 male & 12 female Bobwhite Quail that I kept in a 5ft x 5ft x5ft cage... and after 8 weeks the females killed all the males.... If I was to build a multiple compartment cage to separate these quail so to get them apart and get the best egg production .... what would be the ratio of female to male bobwhite quail be for each 18" x 18" compartment.. 1 male to 3 female....... please advise
