Quail chick issue

Sorry about your chick. I agree, seems like he just didn't fail to thrive. It could have been from any number of issues.

Same thing happened to me a few years back! Quail chicks have a very high mortality rate too. You would have probably realized it by now, but the other chicks could have been bullying him. From my experience they like to pick on their weaker siblings. I've even had a few kill other chicks. What weird little birds they are.
