Hi everyone,
I have 15 quail chicks that have just turned a week old and I want to feed them treats but I don’t know if they are old enough yet. Should I wait?

You can give them a very small amount of cooked egg (hardboiled or scrambled).

Do you plan on giving them treats weekly? Eggs are always a nice treat and chicks are usually more keen on eating it. As they get a little older you can hang small pieces of leafy greens for them to pick at or a small amount of fruit like apple for them to pick at.
Remember Quail are small, so think small on the treat category. Do provide chick grit as well.

Are these for pets or eggs/meat? I don't give mine any treats, they get feed.
