Well, you could just set them and find out that way. I don't think you're going to get fertile eggs the day after they mate, though. I was reading in some scientific study that the first fertile eggs showed up about 3 days after mating. I think I'm remembering that right.

Here are some of mine.

Hard to clean unless it's a plastic tank, though. That's why I don't use a fish tank as a brooder anymore. Too heavy to clean easily.
