Quail Class

@Nabiki what breed of quail eggs do you sell? Thinking of buying a few.
I have coturnix and buttons. Unfortunately, I don't have my NPIP certification yet, just my CA egg handler's license. That means that I can ship within CA, but not outside of it.

So I have a 3 or 4-day old egg in the incubator. I candled it just now... And it looks like something is there.. but unlike my other fertile egg, when I move the egg or tilt it, the yolk or embryo moves with it..? I'm very confused. Can you see the yolk in nonfertile eggs....?
Can one of you help? @FloorCandy @Kiki @Ravenlover @Nabiki

Is it a slow slide when you turn the egg? If it is, it probably quit, I would leave it in until day 8 or so to be sure.

Eh... It is kind of slow? Not that much. I will wait until Monday or so. I was kind of bummed... Because if it did quit.. then my positive fertile now... I for sure would have to get more eggs. and my girls aren't laying that many eggs yet. only 2 are.

Thankfully we got another egg yesterday, also put in the incubator. Crossing my finger it's fertile!
Write the date you put each one into the incubator in pencil on each egg so you know when to lock down, also, what will you do at lockdown with all these different start dates? You need to raise the humidity for just those being locked down.

you should save, eggs for 6 or so days, and start them all at the same time, that will give you the best chances of success.
