Hey did anybody have eggs that Hatched recently?
I have not, so love to see some cute babies!!

That happens sometimes, I had one I couldn’t see in the whole time I incubated, it was normal inside, but didn’t develop.

Every time I look at your profile picture I think it is a hedgehog...

Hahahaha, someone in a chicken thread asked about why i didn’t have an avatar, and I was posting those pics at the time, so I used one lol. My son wants a hedgehog named sonic, but I told them no individual pets until they’re 9, and they have to keep good grades, so not for 2 more years!

I have!! I'm not home though so it's just incubator webcam footage but only one has hatched out of 25 and only 4 developed. How do I handle a lone chick?? I cant get friends and I have to leave every day so any suggestions if no others hatch? A quail sitter (lol)?

I know friends for him is the best option but I cant get any chicks near me and my ladies have stopped laying. Culling is a last resort for me.

Have you tried a stuffed toy and a mirror?

I gave my lone sick chick some craft Pom Poms so he felt like he was with buddies, and a mirror. The mirror was a huge hit.
