Quail? Day 19

My quail didn’t hatch yesterday on day 18. I did have to play with the temps for the first couple of days to get it steady. Could this be why. My daughter just called me at work and said some of the eggs are rocking so maybe???

When we hatched quail several years ago, ours hatched a day or two late. Did you count the first day as day 0 or day 1? When eggs are set, the first day they incubate is generally considered day 0. If you didn't factor this in, that may be the reason.

If your temps were on the cold side for a day or so they tend to run late I think. Good luck with your hatch!
