Quail died cant understand why

How old was your quail? I don't have much experience with quail, just recently got chicks, but I have heard that they generally don't live very long, usually up to five years. Someone please correct me if I am wrong this is just what I have heard. I am sure it also depends on the breed.

They are only about 8 weeks old and they are coturnix quail to from what i read im pretty sure it was a heart attack.

Yeah, that does sound like a heart attack. She may just have had a birth defect.

Crazy part is you were watching when it happened. Such a quick death and you were there to see it. I usually just find dead birds.

Its true i had just gone to collect eggs and check they had food and water. After just minutes i was looking at the birds and this happened but there was nothing IIcould do.
