Oh My, My, my! I have got to try this! It's Quail Egg and Smoked Salmon Toasts from Avec Eric (Eric Ripert). They're a canape.

I'm going to use my Challah (egg bread) recipe, and homemade smoked salmon from my uncle/aunt. They go to Alaska every year, fish for fresh salmon, ship it home and smoke it themselves. I have a couple vac sealed packages in the freezer. Lox from a good deli counter would work perfecty as well.
