Quail egg recipes

Bacon cups with quail eggs. Pretty simple. 2 ingredients. Just need a muffin pan & some veggie spray.

Did you bake them? How long? I normally buy the bacon you can microwave because it’s so skinny and gets crispy, I have no idea how long to cook regular bacon in the oven.

400 F. Form cup in muffin pan. Cook for 10 minutes and drain grease. Put in 2 eggs and back in oven for another 10 minutes. Sometimes longer is needed if the bacon is thick.

Pesto eggs: real easy!

Small spoon of pesto then bake. I used the toaster oven (425 degrees, 2 minutes. Watch until the edges get white, then pull them out). Eggs cooked in a silicone mini muffin tin. Garnish with shredded parmesan and basil leaves. They were a huge hit.

Vietnamese Egg Coffee

Coffee with sweet foam containing one quail egg yolk. Combined sweetened condensed milk, quail egg yolk and regular milk whipped and poured over coffee. It's creamier and richer than the usual foam.

I think I used an already prepared version of pesto, but if you have lots of basil, you can make your own by pulsing basil, almonds, parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper together in a blender.
