Quail eggs are driving me mad!!

Good luck!!! All five of my Banties hatched. Have four more under broody outside that are due Wednesday. Three black two white ones. Phes is still about the same.. I think he ate a little on his own last night though.

I had to cull him He started going back down hill again. Ended up in the water dish and was soaked and chilled. Have decided that friends birds are probably to inbred and he needs to get a few new birds next spring from a different breeder.. On a good note stopped at the neighbors house today to see what kind of chickens they have. I hear their Roo in the morning. They have Easter eggers. Their Roo is huge!!! He's got to be two feet tall. So I now have 19 blue eggs to go in the bator tomorrow if the temp is stable. The Eggs just fit in a jumbo box. They are enormous.

HE is really mean they hope if I can hatch some eggs the rooster is going in the stew pot. It takes two of them to gather eggs.

haa haa Not that Roo!!! He's twice the size of the rir I had and he opened my leg in two places right before he got stewed!!! Nope no thank you!!! Im tough but not stupid!!!

CORR!!! I had a nasty ferret a few years back she split my hand open a few times and had a few of my mates too I managed to put her in her place but she still tagged me and other people now and again and she always locked down on what she grabbed so she was rehomed before she ended up attacking one of my kids because I would of put her to sleep then

Yep I love my animals but they are animals. I will not put my family or any one else in danger just for the sake of an animal with a major attitude.
