quail eggs are hatching. need HELP. first time.

I just checked the one that has been oozing and the one that was cracked for three or gour days. They were yolk only. I have a feeling they are all infertile.
 
Nothing. I believe they were all infertile except 5 of them. I ordered some quail eggs from Georgia in hopes that I will get better eggs. My friend is suppose to give me some more, but I am not putting stock into them. I read their website from the place I ordered new eggs and it said that the humidity in a forced air incubator should be 75% and then 80% during hatching. That seems high. Could that be right? what happens if it is too humid? I do appreciate all the feedback. I am new at this and I don't want to kill a bunch of birds learning.
 
The humidity should be around 38-40 percent then in lockown up to 60-65%
If the humidity is 2 high the air cell wont grow and the chick wont get enough oxegen and die sometimes its possible to drown but that can be rare
 
I am now on day 1821 of a new batch. I added hoses to my incubator to add water without opening. I got23 eggs from a quail farm in Georgia and then a week later my friend gave me more eggs. I put them in bit a couple have spoiled and had to be removed. If anymore crack, should I just wait until the others have hatched before I reove them it iz real close to jatch date and i don't want to kill them by opening the incubator.
 
you are better off if you open your incubator each day, instead of using the hoses. if you have to open your incubator after they have pipped, spray them lightly with warm water.

it sounds to me like your trying to hard, take a deep breath and relax. enjoy it and dont work at it so hard.

ive probably said this to you before, but several hatchers have had issues with their first few hatches. dont let it get you down, just keep trying, you will get it eventually. with every failure you learn something.
 
Oh. Ok. I thought the last few days were crucial not to open. I only have to open it every three days to add water.
