Quail Eggs Incubation

I'm getting eggs thanks to rbamterry. (YAY ME!!!)

Anyway, is the incubation of quail eggs the same as chicken? As in humidity, temp, rotations? I don't have the cups for the automatic turner so I'll be doing it by hand.

How long is Coturnix incubation? When should I do the "give up" trudge to the trashcan? I've been keeping the adults on pine shavings and they seemed to do alright until I moved them to a different pen. Can I put the quail chicks on the pine bedding?

The older quail did perfectly with the chicken chicks...so can I put the chicken chicks in with the quail chicks?

i think the incubation os anywhere between 15 and 18 days i have seen some talk about as long as 20 days. stop turning on day 14.
if it were me i sould keep the chickens and quail in different brooders but thats me
