Quail eggs not hatching

My money is on being patient. On my first (and only hatch) I was worried and thought they were all duds. Turns out I had a bunch that where pipping in places I couldn’t see. Of the fertile eggs I got 70% of healthy chicks from that. Of the ones that didn’t make it 2 where my own fault.

Patience pays off.

I've had very good luck with a Brinsea mini II.

I've learned through this site that i should use another way of checking the temp, but i set mine to 99.8, and all has been good. If it wasn't actually 99.8 inside, I don't know what it was.

I think I have hatched six sets of eggs.

I gave a friend 28 eggs to incubate in a Farm Innovations (?) incubator, but none hatched.

I guess not all incubators are created equal.

To add to that, all of mine were hatching on or around day 17.
