quail eggs not hatching

could i re use the sawdust or it is infected already?

I'm not sure what sawdust you are talking about, but I would get rid of it if the eggs were laying in it, as much because of the one that hatched as for the ones that didn't. Is this a home made incubator? It sounds to me like your temperatures were off if you didn't get a hatch until day 20. Were these coturnix quail? Really good hatching sometimes takes practice.

Could you give more detail about your setup?type of bator, temprature, humidity readings during incubation period

Yeah it was just a polystyrene box with a light bulb and 2 thermometers the temperature was steady at 100 degree Celsius. I also had a hygrometer to measure the humidity. It was japanese quail eggs.

I mean 100 degrees Fahrenheit

did you turn them? how often? what was the humidity? You can certainly hatch in a foam cooler, just need to watch it really close. And also ventilation is important.

yup i turned it about 4 or 5 times a day.
