Hello all,
I'm incubating quail eggs along with some australorp and Plymouth rocks. The quail eggs are at about day 12 and 1 is crack slightly around the centre and they're all gone slightly sticky overnight. The temp rose to 102, not sure why..so i back that off.
Would the temperature rising be too much for them or what?
Thanks

They're all sticky? What is your humidity at and is your hydrometer salt tested? I would guess either too high humidity or bad eggs. So the quail eggs are sticky and the chicken ones aren't? Can you candke some of the stickiest ones and post pics?
@MGG would you know?
Your knowledge of incubation is far superior to my own. :D
Thanks GermanKennhuhn! :highfive:

I don't have a hydrometer. My incubator is a hova-bator. Can you candle quail eggs?
Correct, the chicken eggs aren't sticky.
Thanks
