I know that this forum is typically for chickens- but I hope all poultry questions are accepted! I’m currently on day 19 and day 20 for my coturnix quail eggs (one batch was put in a day beforehand the other). 6 of them hatched extremely early, on day 16.. I was told this was because the heat was too high. 3 days after I’ve lowered my heat down to 99-100, 60% humidity. There’s been absolutely no action in the incubator. No pipping, no shaking, chirping, nothing.. is that it for the rest of the eggs? Are they just simply not going to hatch? I candled them again just to be certain they were fertile and all Of them had life inside.. I’m so worried and stressed.. does anybody know what I can do for them? If anything? Thank you..

Next time during the hatch i wouldn't change your temperature, just wait until the next hatch.
When you say day 16 did you count the day you put them in? It's weird but with quail you start day 1 on the day you put them in.
If your incubator has some cold spots you still might have a chance for more to hatch.

Yes I counted the first day! It was really odd that 6 popped out and then there was absolutely nothing else, this is my first time doing anything like this, haha! Patience is definitely a virtue I wish i had
