Quail foot deformity

This is forrest gump and his slipper haha i ended up using clear medical tape.
There's another yellow chick I've taped too.

This is my fav colour chick the yellow n black stripes. Would anyone know what colour it will be?

Funny, you named it Forrest Gump! I had a Bob chick that jumped out of the incubator hatching tray and took off running....that's the name it got! run Forrest, run!

He (or she) was running round so quick on his lil Gumby foot haha so thought that can be Forrest haha. They seem to be doing better with there slippers. I had my last egg hatch last night which means 100% hatch rate ! With shipped eggs. I got 24, 1 egg broke, 3 wernt fertile , 20 Hatched :O

Not quite 100% you have to figure in the infertile eggs also...that will give you the accurate hatch rate of 87.5% .You had absolutely fantastic fertility rate!

I had one with bad feet, all balled up and i tried taping but the ankle was fused so hubby culled it for me. Poor little thing!

I brought the eggs online and had them shipped, i thought I better get 2 dozen in case not enough hatch from one doz because I've not done quail before and had heard shipping can decrease hatch rate.
I taped the 2 quail and now i cant tell them apart! So thanks for the quick advice!
