Quail-Friendly Garden

Avoid tomato plants (or anything in the nightshade family), onions, and garlic.

They will destroy just about anything you put in there, so you either want pots that you can rotate out as they devastate what you put in there, or resign yourself to the fact that not much will survive them.
 
You can grow calendula/pot marigold and dry the leaves to add to the quail dust bath.
