Quail has diarrhea. What should I do?

When my local is out of game bird crumble, I've been using flock raiser. I just make sure there plenty of extra calcium available.

If your bird is 14 weeks old, she should still be getting something that is at least 18-19% protein. I would really look for game bird feed if you can find it. I feed mine Bar Ale game bird crumble which I can get locally.

The flock raiser is 20% protein. The starters are 28% to 30%.

You can add some mashed boiled egg until you can get some game bird feed. Is there a reason you can't get feed for your quail?

My mom went to town and didn’t pick any up. I don’t even know if our local feed store has any quail feed. And the next time we go to town will probably be next week.

Look for game bird feed. I've seen stores that sell "quail" feed that is nothing but seeds and only about 15% protein.

The egg should do for short temr unless you want to go bug hunting.
