I did some googling, and I found a lot of sites say to feed medicated and a lot say to feed nonmedicated, so I guess it would actually be a matter of preference. Except for button quail, everything I found on them says to feed nonmedicated. I would just rather feed mine nonmedicated to be safe. This time of year they need to be inside till spring most likely anyway, so I don't really see the point.
