Quail humour

I have been wanting to create a songbird line of quail, but haven't made much progress yet. Today I happened across this video. Kota Kou has a great sense of humour as he describes historical events of Japan.

That’s awesome, my breeding lines will be long in producing any lovely singers, in fact I may be regressing, I’ve got a mature male that sounds like a teenage boy with a cracking voice, nice big quail but sings soprano and not well!

Alas, my potential singing boy grew up to be an absolutely obnoxious crower. Screaming at the top of his lungs every five minutes obnoxious. The pretty songbird voice was just his baby voice. But I've noticed that one of his sisters likes to sit around singing quietly to herself, and I'll be breeding the same parents again come spring, so here's hoping! We all deserve adorable singing floofs to carry in tiny bags to each other's houses, lol. Great video.
