I have a mini advance brinsea and half my eggs have hatched. Do I remove some of the chicks that have been in there for 12 hours or just leave them in longer? To wait on more to hatch some only piped about 10 bours ago, and less. Dave

They can be left in a bator for up to 24 hours but thats a small bator so use your judgement if it seems to crowded. As long as there is sufficient oxygen and no one is being too aggressive all is well just wait as long as you can so that if possible you only take chicks out one time.

I monitor the hatching process and remove dry chicks. The hatching duration can be quite varied, with a handful of early sprouters vs the slowpokes that finish hatching 2-3 days later.

Thanks!! I had all 12 hatch now but I did take the first 7 out 10 after hatching. Then the rest started hatching about 7 hours later.
