then they put it in their water dish so it explodes:/
what should i do or what is wrong:confused:
i was looking at some pics of quail next to water bowl and it looked like that owner have put big marbles or jell balls in the water cup should i do that?

Make sure they are on a good diet with plenty of protein as they may be searching for protein. Also offer plenty of crushed oyster shell and they may also be looking for the calcium. I do know with chickens, eating the eggs can become a problem causing them to all eat or damage the eggs. However I have never lost too many eggs with quail poking at them. Try to collect the eggs before they lay around too long and maybe it will break this habit. [IMG]

Quote:The purpose of the marbles in the waterers does a few things. It keeps babies from drowning in the water and the marbles also attract them to the water, getting them to drink more. As far as sexing your quail, that all depends on what type they are. [IMG]
