Quail lump on beak?

The balding is most likely from over mating, he grabs the feathers on her neck when he mates and pulls them out. You might give the girls a break from him for a while.

The bump looks infected. Do you have and antibiotic lotion you can apply? Something like Triple Antibiotic cream, without the pain killer. I'd put it on 2 times a day for a couple weeks and see it this helps.
Thank you, I'll try it out, and with the male pulling feathers I've stried too separate but he keeps making a loud noise (idk what it's called)

Also do you reccomend any specific lotion? (Also just regular lotion or anything specific to poultry)

2 males 4 females but in groups of 3 so 1 male for every 2 females (I've tried swapping Quails around and they don't settle and stress eachother out.
This is not enough females, he will mate them to death. Males need 6 or 7 hens so there is less mating per hen.

This stuff works well.

I had 2 other Quails who passed away a few days after hatching and I don't know what their genders were. Since I only had the 6 left I was lucky the last to hatch was a female or id have 1 for each male and although it's still not enough females it's the best I can do, really only one male is very over the top and it's the one that made them bald the other male does mate with the females but he hasn't made them bald, he doesn't drag them and he's much calmer

If you can't add more females, expand their area, make it bigger. Put in hidy places like branches, leafy things so the girls can get away from the males.
