Quail makes strange noises...

So yesterday I was watching tv and I noticed that my quail was making strange sequence of beeps like a fire alarm. I dont know what this means if she's scared or something.

Single quail? Sounds like you are describing the "where is everyone else, I am scared, why do you have me all alone" chirp. Especially if it is two beeps close together. Like beep-beep, beep-beep, beep-beep.

Mhm she is a single quail but she rarely makes that sound she made it because she slipped in her food bowl. I have tried getting her a friend but it had a disease so i got rid of it. I want to get her one but how can i be sure it doesnt have the disease?

I don't want to sound harsh, but I have seen you say this a few times in different threads. Do you plan to never get another bird because you are scared there is a chance it might be sick? Because that is no way to live.

Just go get another quail and quarantine it for a while to observe its behavior. Just like you should do whenever you get a new animal. You quarantine it until you know it is not sick. You could also treat both birds for whatever disease you are scared of which in this case seems to be treating with Tetracycline if you are worried the new bird might have Enteritis.

Alrighty so I've made some decisions and I have decided I'm getting her a friend late November. Again, thanks for the advice and I plan on quarantining the bird first.
