We recently started raising some quails, we have 3 total. One of them has a bad leg so we had to take it to the vet. When we took it out, one of the other quails starting making this calling sound that it usually makes when I take that one out (it's not a chirping sound). So about 2 days later, I bring the quail back into the brooder to join it's friends, and now the one that was making the sounds before is making it again but now it's whenever I bring the other quail back into the brooder. Does it not recognize the other quail and is intimidated in some way? Any ideas?
