Quail not calling back

I have 7 bobwhite quail (4 females and 2 males.) I let them out every once in a while and leave 1-2 in the pen to call the free ones back. (I have a one way tunnel) Today I let 5 out, they roamed around and I lost track of them. The 2 females left behind are not calling and the group thats out is also not calling. Its now dark and they are no where to be seen or heard. Are they gone for good? Anything I can do to bring them back?

It's spring and hormones are high and lots of feed is available. If they are not back in the morning, I'm guessing they have reverted to wild.
