Yes, he came to me VERY well litter trained. You want to rig their hay up OVER their litter pan so that they sit in their litter pan while they eat their hay. That will encourage them to go in the right place. They often go to the bathroom while chewing hay. You'll have fewer "mistakes" if you rig things this way. Of course, doing this means that you must change their litter a lot more often since they spend more time in their litter pan.
Also, get a good sized cat litter pan - not one of the little corner bunny pans. This way, they are less likely to miss and go in the wrong place.
Most people I know who have bunnies say that they do not like hard floors. I covered the cement under my bunnies play area with an area rug. It's my GOOD area rug so you can tell I really like Rabbit! (Rabbit is actually his name, ROFL.)
