quail question

I have just submitted my State paperwork to have a small pen of quail. I have a hutch, similar to a rabbit hutch, that is about 2'X2'X8' long. Really, my goal is just to have some to listen to them call. In reading on here it seems the males call, but a proper ratio is many females to one male, which I also read means little vocals. Anyone have any input on how to set my birds up to get what I'm wanting?

Are you talking about Bobwhites? Here is a link that discusses the ratio. While I was putting some 'maters in the veggie garden this evening, my bobs started their evening calls. Reminded me of the Walton's when they said "good night".
