Hello,

I have some quail chicks. I tried the venting method and...well I'm still new to this. All of them looked female to me 😄. I've heard with some types you can sex by feathers. Just wondering if anyone knows the gender of these. I only took pictures of half - the others look pretty similar to these. They are about 4 weeks old I believe.

None of your chicks are feather sexable, and they're also too young. You'll be able to vent sex them when they're about six weeks or older, but not before then.
Yes, vent sexing is not reliable until 5+ weeks and also takes some practice
However, keep an eye out for early signs as some males may start crowing early!
