quail spitting up water?

this is weird but i have been noticing that my quail has been drinking a whole bunch of water then spitting some of it out later. is he vomiting? what can i do to help?

Just keep an eye on this bird's behavior for now. This one symptom may mean nothing more than a hiccup that cause a little fluid from the crop to regurgitate. I see this occasionally in my flock.

However, it could signal the beginnig of a crop issue, so watch for signs of this quail not feeling well - lethargy and loss of appetite.
