No, they don't. You can look up pictures of Japanese quail, Bobwhite quail, and Button quail to figure out what kind you have as those are the most common types to find available in most areas. Also what size they are and what age will give you a hint, Buttons are tiny and Bobwhite are pretty big.Just bought some quails. Not sure what kind but do they all start laying at 6 week?

Not sure if this question has been asked as this is a very healthy and busy thread with 10 pages so I apologise if some of you will be repeating yourselves.
I have a sand dust bath that I have added "poultry dust" too.

Please take precaution when doing this. If not introduce Slowly. The older ones will kill The younger ones.
Once they are big enough we will add them to the two 5 wk old corturnix we have
and they will compete for food and what not
