Quail treats?

my coturnix would do anything for a mealworm. I quite like to put just one in a cage and watch them chase each other. One gets it and instead of eating it it runs around with it in its beak until it drops it and another one picks it up. Very good exercise for them!

My coturnix show absolutely no interest in worms. It is so wierd! However my buttons ... they are comical about who gets it first and running off with the worms.

Anybody ever throw a bay lizard in the quail pen
Mine looked like a bunch of chickens runnin around stealing it from each other

I loved reading this and getting new ideas.

Omelette goes crazy for broccoli and strawberries. Doesn't seem to like scrambled egg. I'll try hard boiled.

She loves crickets and is so quick to catch them. I accidentally caught about 50 tiny crickets one night this summer in a cat food container with dry kibble that had gotten wet. The rest seem to have grown up and moved on.. Or maybe they're on to me :/
