I did a few years ago, but not anymore. I don't recall saying that I keep them together. I hatch them together but brood separately. Oh, and I did mention an OEGB with a cage near the incubator.

I have not, but so far its worked fine. Since nothing bad has happened to the quail and they get along great I dont see why I should keep them seperate. They've lived their whole life together.

My chickens are about 50 foot from my quail. A friend of mine taught me to work on the baby quail chicks first then work on the grown quail then work on the chickens, then wash up before working on quail anymore. Normally I organize well enough I do not need to wash up.

ITS NOT SO MUCH IF, BUT MORE LIKE WHEN... 9 WKS IS NOTHING! KEEP IN MIND IF THEY CATCH A POULTRY ILLNESS AND SURVIVE (NOT LIKELY) THEY WILL THEN BECOME CARRIERS AND THEREBY RENDERED USELESS FOR ANYTHING GAMEBIRD... AS THEY WILL INFECT ANY OTHER GAMEBIRDS WITH SAID ILLNESS. .... MUCH LIKE LEAVING A MONKEY WITH AN ASSAULT RIFLE, A CLIP FULL OF AMMUNITION AND A BOTTLE OF RUM--- SOONER OR LATER THERE'S LIKELY TO BE BAD PROBLEMS...

ALL MY SPECES ARE SEPERATED AND MY ROUTINE IS VERY MUCH LIKE APROPHET'S I FEED/ WATER/ CARE FOR ALL GAMEBIRDS SPECES 1ST, THEN TAKE CARE OF THE OTHER POULTRY

Yep, people think their birds do't carry a disease and that we just got bad luck and so on. I wish people could grasp the concept that it CAN happen to them. Oh, and Chickenbooboo you lost a button a while back, I'll bet coryza...
