Quails and Heat

So I'm moving along slowly but steadily in my plot to acquire and keep quails - thanks for all the help so far!

I'll be keeping jumbo coturnix most likely. Now, I've seen a lot about how they tolerate the cold. That's fine, it doesn't get very cold here.

But it does get hot here. Do they tolerate hot weather ok? We'll be growing a tree next to the cage/hutch/thing, but obviously...that'll take a couple years before it's very effective.

It gets in the mid to upper 90's here in the summer and they do fine, there is plenty of shade for them.

I would also try to ensure they have adequate ventilation along with the shade.
