I just sold 41 cortunix japanese quail eggs. The guy reported back to me on FB. He put his eggs in lock down on Day 14 and then the following day 7 of the 41 eggs so far have hatched. He got a variety of colors Brown, Italian, Rosetta and Tibetan. Its good to see my birds are all doing their jobs.
Im a bit jealous cause i never got my eggs to hatch out on Day 15, earliest is end of Day 16, but usually 17-18. He was running his incubator at 60 humidity upto lock down then it raised 65-70. He used 37.8 celsius instead of 37.5 celsius through incubation. I will try these settings next time maybe he just has a much better Incubator than mine.
If anyone from Australia would like to buy eggs. I do postage also. $25 for 24 eggs, +11.55 next day delivery additional.
