It was 211º this afternoon here. I think I saw the birds' waterers start to have that pre-boil little tiny bubbly thing going on just before the sun went down... Didn't know whether to take today's egg collection on in to the storage cooler, or go ahead and peel them and put'em in the vinegar and Lousiana Hot Sauce.........

J.C. is a "ride and slide" guy, breeds his mares to the top reigning stallion every year. wanna see pics of the horses?

I also got lucky today and got to meet up with who I call, my "bird mentor", found L.R. Garner on the Ameraucana Breeder Club last year and he lives around the corner from the family, he is one of the best, if you don't think so, well you don't really know nuthin' and I don't need to know ya...

learned more today than one could ever learn in a classroom.

Well lastnight I stayed up till 4 looking for quail breeders in pa and i found one! he is in Knox, PA! about 50 miles from me
