Day off today from pen building. I regret deciding to put aluminum flashing on all my lower members. Lot of little nails and bending sheet metal. My thumb hurts.

Needed something a little harder today to relax. Music and beverage.

Dr. FatDaddy,

we just had 2- "what the hecks"- in there, wasn't sure on fertility as the roo was a young'n with 7 hens, but 1 hatched, looks ok- that is my first bird hatched from my own birds after starting the quailquest...

and 18 brown fuzzybutts! all look exceptional. very happy with the results- considering what we knew going in. Good day for the white labcoats!

I just boxed up a top secret experimental load of eggs for shipment in the morning. If the feds dont confiscate it, and redirect it to area 51. It should be the lastest and greatest Gargantuan Brown Boneless Cambodians, that have ever just sat there and ate!!! Im just research, got to send them to the north east facility for the developmental phase of the project. Keep your fingers crossed,
