At one point I was worried about the hatchability of these birds. I locked down 49 eggs last week and when it was all said and done 44 hatched. Then Wednesday I locked down 29 more. As of right now I'v had 26 hatch... I'm think'n they hatch just fine. I gave 2 dozen chicks away tonight to OzawkieBantams. Im sure he'll take'em and build a impressive flock of birds... I have 3 dozen more due to hatch in less than 2 weeks. I plan to cull hard and only keep the absolute most "Ta-tanka like" for breeders. Then send the rest off to the Kenmore Country Club.... I win no matter how it works out!!! Bill

I'v been do'n battle with the local wild life for months now... I'm vastly out numbered but well armed. Caught a HUGE marauding coon earlier this week. He had a taste for the sunflower seed my bride puts in her bird feeders since he could'nt dine on quail... But this one kinda suprised me....

I think its a tea cup possum!! Go figure.... Bill
