qual egg turner idea

I have a normal egg turner for my incubater. For like 24 bucks i could get quail egg holder attachments. Was wondering if i could cut the egg spot out of foam egg carton and place them in the egg turner and then place the quail egg into that. So the foam holder will act like a cup.
Just figured if I saved 24 dollars I could use that for more eggs, lol

You probably could do that. You just want to make sure your eggs are firmly in there, but still have room to breathe. I cut up quail cartons and put the individual "cups" in each of the egg holders and that seems to work just fine.

quail cartons, lol, never even thought that they came in quail size.
