Quality of Wheaten Marans Cockerels

How do these Wheaten Marans Cockerels look compared to the SOP. Not interested in showing, just curious.

I can’t tell you because they are not fully feathered, but it looks like a good start. They are developing good frames and have feathered legs. I’d be happy to see them in full, beautiful feather, they’re sure to be handsome all grown up. I’m sorry to here about the death of your other chicks.

All that white... They really aren't supposed to show white feathers, exept for maybe a few of the flight feathers. Wouldn't breed them if they were mine, although they're good specimens to put with a layer flock

They’re still too young to tell if they will be show winners, but they look good so far. Their combs are pretty nice, and they’ve got the correct leg color and feathers on their legs. The white should go away as they mature.
